Company Information
Last updated: 2 November 2026
This page contains the legal and company information that applies to this website and to the business that operates it. It is published to meet our obligations under the Companies Act 2006, the Company, Limited Liability Partnership and Business (Names and Trading Disclosures) Regulations 2015, the Provision of Services Regulations 2009, the Electronic Commerce (EC Directive) Regulations 2002, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018 and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR). Please read it together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Terms and Conditions and Payment and Refund Policy, each of which forms part of the basis on which this site is made available to you.
1. Who Operates This Website
This website, enlivenex, is owned and operated by Adlib Audio Limited, a company incorporated in England and Wales. enlivenex is the trading name under which Adlib Audio Limited publishes this site and communicates with customers online. The registered name of the company remains Adlib Audio Limited, and any difference between the trading name and the registered name is explained here in line with United Kingdom trading disclosure rules.
The operator is the publisher of all editorial and technical content on this site, is responsible for its day-to-day management, hosting and security, and is the party with whom you deal when you submit an enquiry, request a quotation or enter into a contract for goods or services through the site. There is no separate marketplace, platform or user community on this site: all content is produced or commissioned by the operator.
Where a sale, hire or service agreement is concluded following an enquiry made through this site, the contract is concluded with Adlib Audio Limited unless we expressly tell you otherwise in writing. Information published on this site is not itself a binding offer, and no contract is formed until we confirm it in writing.
2. Legal Form, Registration Details and Tax Identifiers
Adlib Audio Limited is a private company limited by shares, incorporated and registered in England and Wales under the Companies Act 2006. The company is registered with Companies House, the United Kingdom registrar of companies.
- Registered company name: Adlib Audio Limited
- Company Registration Number: 03555097
- Place of registration: England and Wales
- VAT Number: 477222243
- Registered office: 1 Fairview Cottages, Beehive Road, Binfield, RG12 8TS, UK
- Trading name used online: enlivenex
These identifiers are displayed on this website and, where the law requires, on our business letters, order forms, invoices, quotations and emails, so that you always know which legal entity you are contracting with. If you need independent verification of the company record, the public register maintained by Companies House is the authoritative source.
2.1 Directors and responsible persons
We do not publish the names of individual directors or officers on this page, because that information is personal data and is already available on the public register. Where a director or officer is named in correspondence that also functions as a business letter, we name all directors as required by the trading disclosure rules. Requests for the name of a responsible person for a specific matter can be made using the contact route in section 3.
2.2 Licences, authorisations and trade memberships
The services described on this site are professional technical services. Where we hold a trade membership, professional registration, equipment certification or authorisation that is relevant to a service we supply, we will make the details available to you before or at the time the service is supplied, as required by the Provision of Services Regulations 2009. Where an activity requires a statutory licence, permit, insurance or approval, we hold it or engage an appropriately approved partner; details are provided on request.
2.3 Modern slavery and ethical sourcing
We do not tolerate slavery, forced labour or human trafficking in our business or supply chains. Where an organisation meets the turnover threshold set by the Modern Slavery Act 2015, it must publish an annual slavery and human trafficking statement and place a prominent link to it on its home page; our own ethical sourcing commitments are applied to the suppliers and subcontractors we use for equipment, freight, fabrication and on-site crew.
3. Registered Office and Contact Details
Our registered office is 1 Fairview Cottages, Beehive Road, Binfield, RG12 8TS, UK. This is the address at which formal notices, legal documents and correspondence for the attention of the company should be delivered, and it is the address recorded on the public register.

The quickest route for technical, commercial or contractual questions is email or the enquiry form on our Contacts page. If your message is urgent, please telephone and state the deadline you are working to.
Please do not send legal notices by social media message or by text, as those channels are not monitored for formal correspondence. 4. Purpose, Scope and Intended Audience of This Website
enlivenex is an informative resource dedicated to audiovisual production excellence. Its content covers broadcast studio design, camera control systems, professional lighting arrangements, sound engineering, and streamlined workflows for television networks and live events. The site explains how studios, control rooms, lighting rigs, audio systems and production workflows are planned, specified, integrated, operated and maintained.
4.1 Intended audience
The site is written for a professional and technical readership: broadcasters, production companies, studios, systems integrators, rental and hire businesses, event organisers, technical crews, engineers and students of production technology, predominantly in the United Kingdom but also internationally. It is a business-to-business resource.
The site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children through the contact form. Nothing on this site constitutes professional engineering, structural, electrical, health-and-safety or legal advice for a specific project; site-specific design, risk assessment and compliance must be carried out by competent persons before any installation or live event.
4.2 Status of the information published
Descriptions of equipment, workflows, technical capabilities and availability are provided for general information. Technology in this sector changes quickly, so specifications, model numbers, firmware behaviour and third-party compatibility may change without notice. Nothing on this site is a binding offer, quotation or guarantee of availability. Quotations, proposals, hire agreements and statements of work are issued separately in writing and take precedence over anything published here.
The site is published in English, and contracts concluded through it are made in English. Where a translation or summary is provided for convenience, the English version prevails.
5. Access to and Acceptable Use of This Website
You may browse this site and use its public features for lawful purposes connected with your own professional evaluation of the topics covered. Access is provided on a temporary basis, and we may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site, or restrict access, where we consider it necessary for security, maintenance, legal or operational reasons.
When using this site, you must not:
- use it in a way that breaches any applicable law or regulation, or that infringes the rights of any other person;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its server, its administration areas or any connected system, or probe, scan or test its vulnerability;
- introduce viruses, malware, ransomware or any other harmful code, or engage in denial-of-service activity;
- use automated means such as scrapers, spiders, bots or harvesting tools to extract content, contact details, pricing or technical data, other than standard search-engine indexing;
- frame, mirror, re-host or deep-link to parts of the site in a way that misrepresents your relationship with us or removes attribution;
- submit false, misleading, abusive, defamatory or unlawful content through any form, or use the enquiry form to send unsolicited advertising or bulk mail;
- remove, obscure or alter any copyright, trade mark or other proprietary notice.
You are responsible for keeping your own devices, browsers and credentials secure, and for ensuring that anyone who accesses the site through your connection complies with these rules. If we reasonably believe that use of the site is unlawful, harmful or disruptive, we may block access, report the matter to the relevant authorities and cooperate with any investigation.
6. Intellectual Property, Content Ownership and Permitted Use
All content on this site, including text, technical descriptions, diagrams, illustrations, photographs, layout, code, and the selection and arrangement of the material, is protected by copyright, database rights and, where applicable, design rights. These rights belong to Adlib Audio Limited or to its licensors, and are reserved. The trading names, logos, product names and service marks used on the site, including enlivenex, belong to their respective owners; nothing on this site gives you any right to use them.
6.1 What you may do
You may view, browse and print or save individual pages for your own internal, non-commercial reference; you may quote short extracts in internal reports, presentations or teaching materials, provided that you attribute the material to enlivenex and do not modify it in a way that changes its meaning. You may link to the home page of this site in a fair and lawful way.
6.2 What you may not do
You may not reproduce, republish, distribute, sell, license, rent or commercially exploit any substantial part of the site; create derivative works, compilations or databases from it; use it to train or develop automated systems without our written permission; or use our names, logos or trade marks in a way that suggests endorsement, partnership or affiliation where none exists. Requests for permission, syndication, translation or reproduction should be sent to [email protected].
6.3 Third-party materials and notices
Some content on this site, such as manufacturer imagery, equipment data or standards references, belongs to third parties and is used with permission or under an applicable exception. If you believe that content on this site infringes your intellectual property rights, please contact us at [email protected] with details of the material, the right relied on and evidence of ownership, and we will investigate promptly and remove or amend the material where appropriate.
7. Accuracy, Availability and Proportionate Limitations of Liability
We take reasonable care to ensure that the information on this site is accurate and up to date when it is published, and we correct errors when they come to our attention. However, the site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that the content is complete, current or suitable for a particular project, that the site will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free, or that any defect will be corrected.
Availability may be interrupted for maintenance, updates, hosting issues, network failures or events outside our reasonable control. We do not accept liability for any loss caused solely by your inability to access the site, or for any decision taken in reliance on general content published here rather than on project-specific professional advice.
7.1 Limits of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of anticipated savings, loss of business, loss of goodwill, loss or corruption of data, and for any indirect or consequential loss arising out of or in connection with your use of this site or reliance on its content. Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded but can be limited, our liability in connection with the site is limited to the greater of the fee paid by you for the specific service to which the claim relates or a nominal sum, whichever the applicable law allows.
7.2 What this section does not affect
Nothing in this section excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any breach of the rights you have as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other consumer legislation. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected by anything on this page.
8. External Links and Third-Party Content
This site may refer or link to external resources, such as equipment manufacturers, broadcasters, venues, standards bodies, trade associations, software providers and documentation portals. Those references are provided for convenience and technical context only. They are not an endorsement, and we do not control the content, availability, accuracy, security or privacy practices of any external site.
When you follow an external link you leave this site and become subject to the terms and privacy notices of the destination site. We are not responsible for any loss arising from your use of a third-party site or service, and we make no representation about the goods or services offered there. If you find a link on this site that is broken, outdated or points to inappropriate material, please tell us at [email protected] so that we can review it.
Some pages may include embedded third-party media, maps, fonts or analytics elements. Those services may set their own cookies or collect technical information, and their providers act as independent controllers of any data they collect. Our Cookie Policy explains the categories of cookies used on this site and how you can control them.
9. Data Protection: UK GDPR, Data Protection Act 2018 and Your Rights
Adlib Audio Limited is the data controller for personal data collected through this site. We process personal data in accordance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. The full detail of what we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it and who we share it with is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of this legal information and should be read alongside this page.
9.1 What we collect and why
When you use the enquiry form on our Contacts page or email us, we collect the information you choose to provide, such as your name, organisation, email address, telephone number, project details and any files you attach. We also collect limited technical information about your visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you view, to keep the site secure and understand how it is used.
We rely on the following lawful bases: legitimate interests, for responding to business enquiries, securing the site and improving our services; consent, for optional cookies and marketing communications; performance of a contract, where you engage us to supply goods or services; and legal obligation, where we must retain records for tax, accounting or regulatory purposes.
9.2 Your rights
Subject to the conditions in data protection law, you have the right to be informed about how your data is used, to access a copy of your personal data, to have inaccurate data corrected, to have data erased, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, to withdraw consent at any time where consent is the basis for processing, and not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within one month, although that period may be extended where a request is complex. If you are unhappy with our handling of your data, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the United Kingdom supervisory authority for data protection. We would appreciate the opportunity to resolve your concern first.
10. Cookies and Similar Technologies under PECR
This site uses cookies and similar technologies, such as local storage and pixels, in line with the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003. When you first visit, a cookie banner explains the categories of cookies used and allows you to accept or refuse non-essential cookies.
- Strictly necessary cookies: required for the site to function, to remember your cookie choices, to protect forms against abuse and to keep the site secure. These are set without consent because they are essential.
- Analytics cookies: used to understand how visitors use the site, which pages are most useful and where visitors encounter problems. These are only set with your consent.
- Marketing or third-party media cookies: set by embedded content or advertising partners, where used. These are only set with your consent.
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the cookie settings on the site, and you can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may affect how the site works. Our Cookie Policy lists the cookies used, their purposes and their typical retention periods.
11. Orders, Hire, Prices, Payment and Refund Arrangements
Where this site is used to enquire about or order goods, equipment hire or technical services, the applicable Terms and Conditions and the Payment and Refund Policy also apply. In the event of a conflict between this page and those documents in relation to a contract, the contract documents prevail.
11.1 Prices and taxes
Prices shown on this site, where any are shown, are indicative and may exclude delivery, installation, rigging, transport, crew, consumables and applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. We are registered for VAT in the United Kingdom under VAT Number 477222243, and VAT is charged where it is due. Business-to-business quotations set out the applicable tax treatment and payment terms.
11.2 Consumer rights in distance contracts
Where we sell goods or services to a consumer by distance means, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 apply. Consumers normally have 14 days from delivery of goods, or from the conclusion of the contract for services, to cancel without giving a reason, and we provide the required pre-contract information and a model cancellation form where applicable. Refunds are made within 14 days of cancellation or of the return of the goods, using the same payment method unless agreed otherwise. The cancellation right does not apply to certain items and services, including bespoke or customised goods, sealed goods that have been unsealed, and services that have been fully performed with the consumer's prior express consent and acknowledgement that the cancellation right is lost. Return costs may fall on the consumer unless we agree otherwise.
11.3 Quality of goods and services
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described, and services must be performed with reasonable care and skill. If something is not right, contact us at [email protected] and we will put it right, in line with our Payment and Refund Policy. Business customers are not covered by consumer legislation, so the remedies in the applicable hire agreement, supply agreement or statement of work apply instead.
11.4 Equipment hire and disposal of electrical equipment
Hired equipment, including audio, lighting, video, rigging and control systems, remains our property or that of the owning hire partner, and the separate Equipment Hire and Optional Services Terms and Conditions govern damage, loss, insurance, collection, late return and on-site responsibilities. Where we place electrical or electronic equipment on the United Kingdom market or supply it through hire arrangements, we comply with the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Regulations 2013 and related product safety, electromagnetic compatibility and low voltage requirements. Invoices are payable in accordance with the agreed terms, and we reserve the right to charge statutory interest and reasonable recovery costs on overdue commercial debts.
12. Applicable Law, Competent Courts and Consumer Dispute Rights
This legal information page and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with your use of this site are governed by the law of England and Wales. Subject to the paragraph below, the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
If you are a consumer resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may bring proceedings in the courts of the part of the United Kingdom in which you live, and nothing in this page affects your right to do so. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence may also apply, and nothing here removes rights you cannot waive by agreement.
12.1 Resolving a problem
We would much rather resolve a problem directly than through formal proceedings. Please raise any complaint with us first at [email protected], describing the issue, the order or project reference and the outcome you are seeking. We will acknowledge complaints promptly and aim to give a substantive response within 14 days. If we cannot resolve the matter, we will explain the options available to you.
12.2 Alternative dispute resolution
Alternative dispute resolution (ADR) can be a quicker and cheaper route than court for some consumer disputes, and certified ADR providers operate in the United Kingdom. We are not currently obliged to participate in ADR in relation to this site and we do not commit in advance to a particular ADR provider, but we may agree to mediation or another form of ADR on a case-by-case basis. Consumers can also seek general advice from Citizens Advice or their local Trading Standards service. The European Union's online dispute resolution platform does not apply to contracts concluded with a United Kingdom business after the end of the transition period.
13. Changes to This Page, Severability and Further Information
We review this page regularly and may update it to reflect changes in our business, technology, suppliers or the law. The current version is always published on this page, and the date at the top of the page shows when it was last revised. Changes take effect when the revised page is published, and material changes will be flagged on the site or notified to customers where we hold current contact details and the change is significant. Continued use of the site after a change means that you accept the updated information.
If any part of this page is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, that part will be treated as removed and the remaining parts will continue in full force. A failure or delay by us in enforcing any provision is not a waiver of that provision. This page, together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Terms and Conditions and Payment and Refund Policy and any signed contract documents, sets out the basis on which the site and our services are provided. It does not replace the terms of any individual contract, quotation or hire agreement agreed in writing.
If anything on this page is unclear, or you would like information in an alternative format, please contact us at [email protected] or on 01344 649400, or write to us at 1 Fairview Cottages, Beehive Road, Binfield, RG12 8TS, UK. We will provide the clarification or format you need where we reasonably can.
